This past year has been very difficult for a lot of us, and I’m sure that I am not alone in feeling stressed about exposing myself and my loved ones to Covid. As a result, I started reconnecting with nature by taking long walks in the Bois de Vincennes of Paris. This artwork was inspired by the beauty I came across during my most recent outing. The tree blossoms were magnificent! I think it was the first time in quite a while that I actually felt hopeful, as if things were finally going in the right direction. I decided to immortalize the feeling that these blossoms had brought to me. About an hour after uploading this image today, I received a phone call from my doctor asking if I could come in for my Covid vaccine because she had an extra dose. I’m so thankful to have such amazing doctors looking out for me. Things are indeed looking brighter... and are indeed heading in the right direction. I hope this artwork brings about the same kind of luck or pleasure your way.
